Rope Access Technician (IRATA Level 2) and Rope Access Supervisor (IRATA Level 3)

SCOPE OF WORK

Under the authority of the Mooring Master / Pilot, has to supervise the deck crew of the vessel. Is involved in the planning, scheduling and assigning of work to the deck crew on ship.

• Installation of riser and umbilicals.
• Rigging system installations and removal.
• Bolt talking at height.
• Demobilization of winch and lattice.
• Spool and deck installations.
• Rigging loads at height.
• House keeping.
• Rope access: rope to rope transfers, straight drops, aiding, re-belays, pulley systems, rescue plans, equipment inspections, standby rescue.

SKILLS & BACKGROUND

Work experience

• Supervisor: minimum of 5 years of experience as a supervisor
• Technician: minimum of 7 years as a rope access technician
• Previous significant SPM & FSO/FPSO’s experience is a must

Certifications

• Supervisor: IRATA Level 3 & Rigging OPITO Level 3
• Technician: IRATA Level 2
• BST/HUET or BOSIET
