SCOPE OF WORK
Under the authority of the Maintenance Supervisor, assists him/her for any matters relating to the instrumentation maintenance of the FSO.
- Assists the Maintenance Supervisor, in case of emergency as defined in emergency Response Plan.
- Assists external contracted workers during works (modifications, revamping, surveys, etc…) in relation with his trade.
- Executes any tasks required by his hierarchy, and in line with his trade.
- Organizes and follows up the program on the systems such as metering unit, gas detection, fire detection, etc.
- Executes the interventions on instrument systems.
- Is responsible for the management of the spare parts and consumables of the instrument section.
- Issues intervention reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Manages the preventive and corrective maintenance as set up by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Is in charge of maintenance of berthing and navigational aids, fix gas, H2S, fire detection devices and phone wire net and public address.
- Is in charge of data well, current meter, anemometer, etc. on SPM buoy.
- Performs and monitors the running works under the Work Permit procedure.
- Is responsible for the spare parts and consumables Management, Storage and Follow up for this department.
- Participates to the HSE program as defined by COMPANY and report any anomaly.
- Issues intervention reports to Chief Engineer (enters reports in GMAO/CMMS).
- Prepares the draft procedures of FSO as required by the Maintenance Supervisor.
SKILLS & BACKGROUND
Work experience
- 5 years of experience in industrial instrumentation maintenance
- Previous FSO/FPSO’s experience may be taken into consideration
Certifications
- Tanker certified as per STCW (Crude oil operations, COW, IGS, Tanks gas-freing)
- Basic Fire Fighting
- H2S
- Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus
- PTW trainings
- BST/HUET or BOSIET
